Delmar’s program covers every facet of hair design in addition you learn and practice what it takes to be a professional. Delmar is constantly upgrading curriculum to better prepare our graduates for workplace expectations.

The College offers 1,400 hours of theory and practical “hands on” sessions in the study of:

• Women’s and men’s haircutting
• Hairstyling; wet to dry
• Long hairstyling and up-styling
• Texture / permanent waving; basic to advanced
• Hair extensions; application and styling
• Interpersonal communication skills
• Client relations and business skills
• Licensing curricula requirements

Our program goes “beyond” hairstyling to include “step by step” instruction in:

• Manicuring
• Facials and facial waxing
• Lash and brow tinting
• Facial make-up

At Delmar you have the opportunity to advance your artistic, intercommunication and networking skills through “outside curriculum events”, our association for the past Fourteen (14) years with the Falconer Model and Talent Agency allows Delmar students to hone their skills while doing hair and make-up for Miss Calgary, Miss Teen Calgary and Mrs. Calgary pageants as well as numerous fashion shows and career related activities.
