Delmar’s program covers every facet of hair design in addition you learn and practice what it takes to be a professional. Delmar is constantly upgrading curriculum to better prepare our graduates for workplace expectations.

Delmar's "pre-employment program" offers 500 hours in the theory and practical study of:

• Professional development and ethics
• Salon business and interpersonal communication
• Salon ecology and first aid theory
• Trichology: Hair care and treatments
• Women and men's haircutting
• Haistyling: Wet and thermal
• Longhair styling and up styles
• Permanent waving and chemical relaxing
• Hair coloring and highlighting
• 100 hours of Salon Technical Training

Length of program

• 500 hours: 5 evenings / 20 hours per week for 25 weeks
• Monday - Friday: 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Cost of program

• Tuition: $4,595.00
  A non-refundable fee of $150 is required and is included in the tuition cost
• Kit:  $779.35 (includes GST)
• Textbooks / Manuals: $260.30 (includes GST)
• Additional costs: $68.70 (includes GST) for 2 operator's vests / jackets
• Total cost: $5,703.35
