“I want to first thank God for opening the doors for me to attend Delmar College of Hair Design. When the decision came for me to quit my job of 16 years and go back to school. I had to make sure that I would attend the best school so I would be talented and skilled enough to support my family when I was through. I did thorough research before applying at Delmar. Some of my research was through hairstyling schools but most of it was through experienced hairstylists and owners of shops. Over 90% of them highly recommended Delmar College. During my first month of school, I was all thumbs but through the encouragement of the teachers and fellow students I continued on and received excellent training. Not only did the school train you to cut, color, perm and up sweep hair, but they taught you how to be professional. She may well be Calgary’s foremost expert in hair-care, color, and style. She certainly has the awards world-wide to prove it. Margaret and her husband, Dale run a large operation with many students who are under constant supervision by excellent, knowledgeable staff. Margaret and the staff immediately know the cure for many a hair problem, whether it’s a color disaster or poor hair health. They take the time to help one select the most suitable color, perm, style, cut, etc. What keeps me coming back is the atmosphere not only physically – spacious, comfortable interior design, but the warmth and friendliness.
